Todd Snitchler

Todd Snitchler is raising his family in the 50th District. He and Melanie have been married for 16 years and their two children attend Lake Local Schools. Todd is invested in the community and wants to make a difference here and throughout Ohio. In the House, he serves as the ranking member of Alternate Energy Committee and also is a member of Economic Development Committee, Access to Health Care Committee, Criminal Justice Committee, Sunset Review Committee and Ohio Child Support Guideline Advisory Council.

Prior to being elected to the House, Todd was a member of the Lake Township Chamber of Commerce, where he served as secretary and chairman.  He co-founded and chaired the Lake Township Development Foundation, Inc. (LTDF), which, as an adjunct to the Chamber, is charged with the retention, development and growth of business.  

Todd is a practicing attorney, though his law practice is taking a backseat while he serves the 50th District. Prior to entering the legal profession, he spent several years in the property and casualty insurance business.

Todd earned his law degree from the University of Akron School of Law and, prior to that, a bachelor’s degree in history and secondary education/social science from Grove City College. He is a graduate of the 20th class of Leadership Stark County.

Todd was born in Binghamton, New York.
