Attorney Todd Snitchler for 50th District Ohio House of Representatives

(Uniontown, Ohio) November 12, 2007 – Lake Township attorney Todd Snitchler is announcing his run for the Ohio House of Representatives in the 50th District. Snitchler currently serves as chairman of the Lake Township Development Foundation and is a member of the Lake Township Chamber of Commerce, where he has served as chairman and secretary. Todd is a resident of the district and his private law practice is located there. Todd and his wife, Melanie, have two children who attend Lake Local Schools.

“Ohio is at a critical point in its history. The decisions we make now will determine our course for the future,” said Todd. "It’s time for sensible, thoughtful leadership that is focused on solutions, not partisanship or maintaining the status quo. Together, we can bring Ohio back.”

Todd earned his law degree from the University of Akron School of Law and has his bachelor’s degree in history and secondary education/social science from Grove City College. He received his secondary education teaching license in Pennsylvania and worked for seven years in insurance before pursuing a law career.

“I’m invested in the community. I believe that with strong leadership and good policies, we can return the 50th district, and the entire state of Ohio, to prosperity and prominence. My educational background and professional legal experience have prepared me for the legislature. I look forward to serving the voters of the district, if they will give me that chance.”

Todd was born and raised in Binghamton, New York. He and Melanie have been married for 15 years.
